Birdair Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Birdair, Inc., which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

Birdair reported that the data breach may have impacted 3,173 individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, date of birth, driver’s license or state identification number, financial account information, health insurance information, individual taxpayer identification number, medical information, passport number, and/or Social Security number.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
