California Casualty Indemnity Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating California Casualty Indemnity Exchange, which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, Social Security number, driver’s license or state identification number, date of birth, tax identification number, and/or financial account number.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
