GiaCare Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating GiaCare, Inc. (“GiaCare”) and GiaMed Alliance JV, LLC (“GiaMed”), which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, driver’s license number, and/or Social Security number.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
