Krispy Kreme Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation, which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

Krispy Kreme reported that the data breach may have impacted 179 residents of Massachusetts. Residents of other states may have also been impacted.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, Social Security Number, financial account, and/or driver’s license.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
