WEG Electric Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating WEG Electric Corp., which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their Social Security number and/or payroll information.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
