Allianz Life Data Breach Lawsuit Investigatioin

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America, which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

Allianz Life Company of North America reported that the data breach may have impacted 1,497,036 individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, address, date of birth and/or Social Security number.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
