Catwig/Victory Disability Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Catwig LLC d/b/a Victory Disability , which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, contact information (e.g., address, email, or telephone number), and Social Security number. It may also have included date of birth and/or medical information—such as diagnosis, treatment, medications, and lab results—for those who shared this information with Victory in connection with their case.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
