Doctors Imaging Group Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Doctors Imaging Group, which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

Doctors Imaging Group reported that the data breach may have impacted 171,862 individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, address, date of birth, admission date, financial account number, financial account type, patient account number, medical record number, health insurance information, medical treatment information, medical claim information and/or Social Security number.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
