Greater Pittsburgh Orthopedic Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Greater Pittsburgh Orthopedic Associates, which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

Greater Pittsburgh Orthopedic Associates reported that the data breach may have impacted 56,954 individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, mailing address, Social Security number, and/or provider name.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
