Mack Energy Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Mack Energy Corporation, which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

Mack Energy reported that the data breach may have impacted 413 residents of Texas. Residents of other states may have also been impacted.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name and Social Security number information.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
