Topstep Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Topstep LLC, which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

Topstep reported that the data breach may have impacted 222 residents of Texas. Residents of other states may have also been impacted.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, address, and/or Social Security number information.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
