Sax LLP Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Sax LLP, which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

Sax reported that the data breach may have impacted 228,876 individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, date of birth, Social Security Number, driver's license or state identification number, and/or passport number.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
