Southwood Financial Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating Southwood Financial LLC, which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, Social Security number, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address and/or other account information.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
