The MathWorks Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating The MathWorks, Inc., which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

The MathWorks reported that the data breach may have impacted 10,476 individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, address, date of birth, Social Security Number, and/or other non-U.S. national identification number.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
