WPM Pathology Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating WPM Pathology Laboratory, which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their full name, date of birth, diagnosis, medical record number, health insurance claims information, and/or Social Security number.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
