James H Cunningham Insurance Agency Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating James H Cunningham Insurance Agency Inc., which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

James H Cunningham Insurance Agency reported that the data breach may have impacted 1,230 residents of Texas. Residents of other states may have also been impacted.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, address, Social Security Number information, driver’s license number, financial information (e.g. account number, credit or debit card number), medical information, and/or date of birth.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
