LexisNexis Risk Solutions Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation

Maxey Law Firm is investigating LexisNexis Risk Solutions (“LexisNexis”), which recently sent notice of a data breach to impacted individuals.

LexisNexis reported that the data breach may have impacted 364,333 individuals.

For each of these individuals, the information involved may have included their name, contact information (such as phone number, postal or email address), Social Security number, driver s license number and/or date of birth.

It is unclear whether or not the Social Security numbers were encrypted and, if not, why they were not encrypted.
